Nayla holds a degree in Architecture from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) and a Master’s in Strategies and Technologies for Development from Complutense University of Madrid and Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain).
She previously worked as a facilitator and project coordinator at the Innovation and Technology for Development Center of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (itdUPM). She also worked as an architect in several studios in Lebanon, and as an urban design consultant on international projects from a studio in Madrid.
Her research has explored building rehabilitation in Spain and the just transitions approach in the context of the European Missions.
