Teresa holds a PhD in Organizational Engineering and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain). Since 2016, she has been a professor in the Department of Organizational Engineering, Business Administration and Statistics at the School of Industrial Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
She has also held other teaching and research positions in the past (Carlos III University of Madrid, Syracuse University, École Spéciale des Travaux Publics). Since 2020, she has been director of the chair “Innovation in Processes and Technologies for Health.” Previously, and for ten years, she held various positions in different organizations in the field of university quality and accreditation (ANECA–Spain; CTI–France; ENQA–Belgium).
