Mónica Oviedo

Head of Sustainable Development and Agenda 2030 at Iberdrola Group
After completing her studies in Economic Law at the University of Deusto and the International Relations Program at the Ortega y Gasset Foundation in Madrid (Spain), Mónica worked in development cooperation in Argentina. She later developed projects with Iberdrola in its subsidiaries in Brazil and Bolivia for more than six years.
Back in Spain, she has held various positions at Iberdrola, mainly in the Environment area. She is currently Head of the Sustainable Development and 2030 Agenda Area within the Group, where she is responsible for embedding sustainability across the company’s activities and for proactively responding to stakeholder requirements in this field.
Mónica is a member of Women Action Sustainability, Trustee of Energía sin Fronteras, Secretary of the association El Día Después, and an Acumen Fellow.
