Amanda holds a degree in Humanities from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona (Spain), a degree in Art History from the University of Barcelona (Spain), and a Master’s in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art in London (UK).

She is an Art Curator at Atelier itd and Artistic Director of the Climate Biennial, the first biennial on art, architecture, and climate design in Spain. She is also co-founder and advisor of Translocalia, a network of artists, curators, architects, activists, and designers who envision the future through art.

Amanda has served as advisor to the European Commission’s S+T+ARTS Prize, an initiative fostering collaborations between science, technology, and the arts, promoting a European approach to technological innovation that is human-centered and values-driven. Previously, she directed the Mutant Institute of Environmental Narratives (IMNA) at Matadero Madrid and the itdUPM, as well as ESTACIÓN CIUDAD, part of artist Natalie Jeremijenko’s Environmental Health Clinic, at both the Barcelona Center for Contemporary Culture (CCCB) and Barcelona City Council. As an independent curator, she has developed and curated projects with institutions such as the Institute of International Visual Arts (InIVA) in London and Casa Triângulo in São Paulo.
