Carla holds a Master’s in Curating & Collections from the University of the Arts London (UK), a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Cultural Industries from the University of Barcelona (Spain), and a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Art Analysis from the University of Barcelona (Spain).

She is a curator, researcher, and cultural manager. Her work explores the impact of semiocapitalism on bodies and human relationships. She is co-founder of trans-, an artistic research collective, and PONT, a multidisciplinary cultural production company focused on experimentation.

Carla has worked as coordinator in cultural spaces and institutions such as Nogueras Blanchard, The Koppel Project, Rebobinart, and the Fostering Arts and Design Association (FAD). She is currently a lecturer in the Master’s in Cultural Management at UOC. She has curated exhibitions at South London Gallery, Flat Time House, àngels Barcelona, CC Can Felipa, Loop Festival, Espai19, and SWAB Fair, among others. Her research has been published in OnCurating, ISIT Magazine, METAL Magazine, El Punt Avui, and El Temps de les Arts.
